I had a variety of jobs before I came here, from a Teacher to Occupational Assistant. But, as a mum, I wanted to work regular hours at a good rate of pay in a clean and friendly environment – you get all that here.

We get plenty of training and it’s very varied, particularly in the early days. The support is there for the asking, whenever you need it. Everyone is professional and friendly.

I love talking to new people. When customers compliment me on my friendly greeting, I say ‘happiness is talking, what more could a girl want?’! I enjoy helping customers sort out their finances by advising them on better ways of handling their money and even helping them to identify new products which better meet their needs.

It’s also important to me that our customers know that they have someone who cares. You get a real variety of callers – every call is a new person with a different story to tell, and you soon realise you can relate to most people and you do actually know quite a lot.

I think if you treat all customers as potential friends you’re unlikely to go far wrong!
